rant comics #1 RANT COMICS started off as sixteen pages of sarcastically entertaining rants accompanied by illustrations created in neil kleid's quirky "black dot eye" cartooning style. each rant deals with the day-to-day travails that joe average comes across in his/her workaday life: from monday mornings to rude waiters to dreaded hangovers - it's all here in unforgiving black and white. RANT COMICS, ISSUE ONE is available at stores in the NYC area, Detroit, and the Isotope Lounge in San Francisco.
rant comics #2 the second issue of RANT debuts an all new format - delivering a more diverse selection of comics for the reader's enjoyment. the rants are now accompanied by an all new adventure of explodey the clown; a five page biographic comic about Del Close; and an original eight page story written and illustrated by your host, neil kleid. RANT COMICS, ISSUE TWO is available at stores in the NYC area, Detroit and the Isotope Lounge in San Francisco.
rant comics #3 The third in my continuing collection of short cartoon stories, anecdotes and tales of corporate insanity. RANT #3 begins with "Suburbia" the first part of an ongoing serial (akin to Nick Bertozzi's "Drop Ceiling" in RUBBER NECKER) about small towns and big dreams. The mini also collects a new bio comic offering a unique take on the rise and fall of New Coke; a four page cartoon "deep thought" entitled "Spring Rolls"; and of course, a new adventure of Explodey, the Clown that Explodes. RANT COMICS, ISSUE THREE is available at stores in the NYC area, Detroit and the Isotope Lounge in San Francisco. For more information, or to purchase, please direct all mail to:
